Angle of Incidence

The Band

Angle of Incidence began in the late summer of 2004 and has come a long way since. The four band members: AJ Andrews, Phillip Duran, Jonathan Abbott, and Teddy Clemmons were all spawned from different musical collaborations.
What sets Angle of Incidence apart from other bands is the uniqueness and unprobability of the music that is created. A sort of rap rock revisited with a cultured hardcore twist on reality.(lyrically)
Joined by Glenn Jones in 2007, Angle is opening up a studio for recording, promotions, videography, lessons, and individual development. Located at 100 Bank st in downtown Oxford, NC.
We hope to complete our first mastered Ep this year and we will release a video for the song Get Wicked in the first quarter of 2008.

AJ Andrews - Bass

How long have you been playing your instrument?
I've been playing Bass guitar and drums for 5 years.
What bands or artists have influenced you or may have helped get you where you are today?
Tool, Deftones, Lamb of God,System of a Down, MSI, Sublime, Incubus, Taproot.
Do you have any hobbies?
I like to play music. All of us like to jam.
Do you play any other instruments?
I play drums, guitar, and piano.
How do you feel when on stage in front of a crowd?
Pretty clear actually. I feel that I have accomplished my short term goals and could possibly achieve my long term goals. Its positive energy.

How long have you been playing your instrument?
I have been writing music since i was thirteen.
What bands or artists have influenced you or may have helped get you where you are today?
Korn, Deftones, System of a Down, Taproot.
Do you have any hobbies?
Spend time with my son, Jonathan.
Do you play any other instruments?
I play guitar and a little drums.
How do you feel when on stage in front of a crowd?
I feel like a completely different person. I feel crazy, ya know. I want to influence alot of people with what we do.

Phillip Duran - GUITAR

Hometown: Henderson, NC

How long have you been playing your instrument?
I've been playing the guitar for 13 years. In fact, I fashioned my first electric guitar out of an old acoustic.
What bands or artists have influenced you or may have helped get you where you are today?
Tool, A Perfect Circle, Taproot, Deftones.
Do you have any hobbies?
I find peace in the studio with the band.
Do you play any other instruments?
I play a little drums and I fool around on bass.
How do you feel when on stage in front of a crowd?
Its an energy rush. I feed off of the crowd.
